You can print using 2 methods;
Web Printing
1. Printing without a driver or locally installed printer (android phone, tablet, chromebook etc.)
You can use our campus based print portals (on Algomau Wifi);
ssmprint.algomau.ca or brprint.algomau.ca
This allows printing using your algomau credentials - same as your student or employee portal login
(login without the @algomau.ca on the end of your username)
Submit the print job using the portal, then retrieve the print job at any printer using your ID card or 5 digits on the reverse of the card.
Via Windows Printing
2. Add the printer to your computer and print using CTRL + P or your favorite print method
To add a printer (Windows 10/11);
1. Search for Printer in Windows search bar (bottom)
2. Click Add a Device, wait for it to timeout (10 seconds or so)
3. Select Add a new device manually
4. Select 'Find a Printer in the directory'
click next
5. Click 'Find Now'
Highlight the Printer for your campus
(Sault Ste. Marie, or Brampton (and for our Mississauga site)
'SecurePrint SSM' or 'SecurePrint Brampton'
Click OK
6. Complete.
You can now print using ctrl + print, or file print methods as before.
*Old printers and print portals are no longer functioning.
*Delete any old printers and/or bookmarks that point to print.algomau.ca
