Algoma University uses a single sign on so if the password is not working in any one of them then first try resetting your password on your own. 

Possible error might show: Your login details don't match // your user id/password is incorrect 



Please go to Having problems logging in? link and verify the information to reset your password. 

If you are having issues even after verifying the details then please create a ticket at IT Helpdesk Ticket and make sure to provide us all 3 following information:

1. Student number

2. Date of birth

3. An alternate email id where we can send you the information (Not AlgomaU)

Reasons why password might not be working:

1. The field is case sensitive and your password is saved for student portal in your browser but not for Gmail. Even a single typo won't let you in. 

2. Your password might have expired. Every student has to reset their password once a year. 

Steps that will make things easier:

Make sure your profile is up to date, the address and the phone number as that will help you in the future to reset your password on your own. 

Note: If you get the following error in particular site then it is not a password issue:

D2L/Brightspace error: Your username/password was invalid or particular user does not exist on our system. If you have any questions please see your system administrator.
